A song held over from my band days. An attempted homage to the Velvets, but perhaps a little too shiny. I still plan to replace the cheesy 'solo' synth with glockenspiel somewhere down the line.
lyrics
Rainy motorbike
Nothing's what it seems
Why am I nothing like
The violence in my dreams
I feel your loving scar
The silver kisses burn
I know you shake
When the boots are dropping
It's your mistake
If you think I'm stopping
In the kitchen so young and spare
Your hands are twitching and you've cut your hair
That's when you learn
When you take the turn
That's when you learn
Rainy motorbike
Nothing's what it seems
Why am I nothing like
The violence in my dreams
That's when you learn
When you take the turn
